My
professional background is in photojournalism and documentary photography
as well as in museums and libraries, which gives me an efficient working
process and an excellent sense of judgment for evaluating images. My
experience makes me familiar with the collections—and often the
staffs—of a number of institutions and private individuals.
As a researcher, I have worked
on a range of projects, from American Experience to teaching materials
for Harvard University and a number of local and national PBS programs.
I have a good deal of technical knowledge, and I am always willing and
eager to travel.
In addition to visual materials,
I am very knowledgeable about vintage music, and I offer a number of
technical services, including a complete wet darkroom, high-res scanning,
digital image restoration, and 78rpm transfers. I have a good grasp
of copyright law and can handle copyright clearances and licensing rights.
